Have you and your Certified Visiting Therapy dog been working together for 3 months or greater, and are looking for your next challenge? Are you ready to get creative with your client interactions? Would you like the tools to create service plans that address your clients, students or participants goals? Would you like to enhance your collaboration and communication with your Visiting Therapy Dog?
At level 3 you will learn about the Neurobiological Model of AAS and how to use it to develop creative and play based services for your clients. You will learn how to increase your dog's ability to listen and respond reliably under a range of higher level distractions, off lead. Over 3 days you will gain the knowledge and skills required to prepare your dog for unleashed potential!
Teams are not assessed at this level. This is a chance to gain the knowledge and skills you will require for Advanced Certification under the expert guidance of Lead The Way Institute trainers. Once you feel you have consolidated all your skills, and are ready to proceed, you may then book into the Level 4 Advanced Certification Course, that includes an off lead intervention and competence assessment.
